I am grounded in the present moment.

* Each Monday, or as required, apply a new affirmation to your daily practice*

I am grounded in the present moment.

Lately, I’ve been thinking about the future.

Lately, I’ve be stuck in thoughts about the unknown, trying to solve what does not yet exist.

Lately, I’ve not been listening to the words of my loved ones fully, completely, and absolutely.

Lately, I have not been present.

I’ve been consumed in my work, consumed in my vision for the future, consumed in addressing my fears, and consumed in the dynamics of events that have not yet occurred. I have not been conscious in my own material reality. Not conscious to the gifts of the moment, to the sounds of silence, to the joy that lives within my own heart. I no longer think of the past, yet I am not present in the here and now. I am lost in a reality that does not exist for me in this moment, this beautiful moment. I am lost in a reality that’s materiality and physical nature lies in the future, unobtainable in the here and now. My thoughts, my emotions run wild. I work to witness and observe them. To see them, to feel them and to let them go. Yet sometimes I cannot. Sometimes I am consumed in this pattern holding me from myself, from all that I have now, from all that is. All that is in this moment, this gift.

And so, I consciously choose to be here. I consciously choose to anchor my loving awareness in the present moment. I consciously choose to acknowledge and receive the gifts of this very second, that lie in the here & now. The only reality that truly exists in this moment, the present.

With love and compassion for myself, I am grounded in the present moment.

I am grounded in the present moment.

Suggested daily practice:

Each and every morning -

  6. Have your affirmation written out before you and begin to silently repeat your it in your minds eye

  7. When you feel ready, close you eyes and continue to repeat the affirmation

  8. Feel what it feels like in your body to fully surrender to your affirmation

  9. Notice these feelings, let yourself truly experience them

  10. Say It. Feel It. Live It - continue for a minimum of 5 minutes and when you are ready begin your beautiful day!

xx Paige
