What stories are you choosing to believe?

Consciously or unconsciously?

"He made me feel that way..."

"These things always happen to me..."

"I don't deserve it..."

"I'm not worth it..."

"My body isn't capable of that..."

"I'm not smart enough..."

"She doesn't care..."

"I don't have time..."

"It won't happen for me..."

"Those were the cards that I was dealt..."

"Some people are just lucky..."

"It was my fault..."

"There is something wrong with me..."

Through experience we have thoughts, through repeated thoughts we develop mindsets, through reinforced mindsets we create habits and through habit we develop and feed beliefs. When we think we feel. When we feel, we think. And from both, we most often take action, unconsciously. Through action we have an experience and through experience we have thoughts...

When we think and feel in the same way we generally, if not always, take the same action. Whether the details of that action may differ slightly or not, the same action is taken. We speak negatively about ourselves, others, our environment. We self-sabotage and negate new opportunities or possibilities. We reinforce habits creating addictions; physical, emotional, mental. We reinforce the story that we unconsciously chose to believe about ourselves while under the veil of ignorance, misconception, of being un-aware. Living an illusion far from the truth of who and what you really are.

L O V E.

You weren't born bad, you weren't born unworthy; unlucky; or dumb. You weren't born unkind, unemotional, or with a heart in deep pain.

You were born in L O V E.

In all its pureness.

In all its glory.

And through the experience and the emotional and mental cycle of reinforcement you simply created a story. An unconscious story that has kept you bound to the unconscious cycle of addiction in all of its forms and colours, both favourable and unfavourable to growth.

But something more has brought you here.

Something with a will more powerful than the addictive states of the body, mind and emotions.

Something that seeks the truth, that seeks to heal your unconscious self, that seeks to awaken, to evolve.

Something that seeks to guide you home.

Something, with a vibration so powerful that it cannot be silenced, extinguished, or shut down.

No matter how hard you try...

There is something within you that, in this moment, asks for you to remember the story that you consciously chose to live while here on Earth, long before you came.

A story that you had temporarily forgotten, a story you had lost to the illusive veil of ignorance.

You have been asleep my dear, and now its time to awaken.

Your Inner Being. Your Truth. Your Love, Light and Consciousness. Your Soul. It knows the way. It is here to guide you home, to love you without condition, as it always has done. It is here to reveal to you the lessons that you are ready to learn, to move you towards stepping into your power, your Being, your Love.

Who you truly are.

What you truly are.

And here, right now. If you are still here, reading this far... it nudges you in your sleep. It urges you to wake and to shake off the drowsiness. And it asks you to write. To consciously begin to rewrite this chapter of your unconscious story, and all of those yet to be read. To L O V E yourself for who you truly are. And everything you want to become. Everything you can become. Everything you are already beneath the veil of illusion.

So my dear, dust off those sleepy eyes and prepare yourself. Prepare yourself for an evolution so powerful that words cannot describe, the mind cannot explain and the body cannot contain. Prepare yourself to step into Being, to live the life you came here to live. To find purpose, meaning, create impact and to thrive in the most deepest sense of the word. To L O V E, who and what you truly are. Who and what we truly all are; I am, you are, we are.

And that is L O V E.

The pen and paper are at the ready. All you need to do is choose the words, and to live and breathe your own masterpiece each and every day.

Choose to be the conscious author of your own story.

Suggested daily practice:

Each and every morning -

  1. Wash your face

  2. Brush your teeth

  3. Drink a glass of water (filtered is preferable)

  4. Take a comfortable seat (maybe put on a salt lamp, some soft music or light some incense if you like)

  5. Take three deep belly breaths (Raja pranayama)

  6. Have your affirmation written out before you and begin to silently repeat your it in your minds eye

  7. When you feel ready, close you eyes and continue to repeat the affirmation

  8. Feel what it feels like in your body to fully surrender to your affirmation

  9. Notice these feelings, let yourself truly experience them

  10. Say It. Feel It. Live It - continue for a minimum of 5 minutes and when you are ready begin your beautiful day!
