I find stability & joy in the simplicity.

I have enough,

I am enough,

I will be enough no matter the circumstances.

I have faith and confidence in my own knowledge, my own experiences, my own self. There need not be a better time for rest, my soul craves it. There need not be a better time for listening, my heart desires it. There need not be a better time for receiving and hearing the softly spoken messages from my intuition;

“Keep it simple, you don’t need to do it now. It will be there waiting for you. Just follow your heart”.

I often find myself in a disconnect, an imbalance. The energy of my masculine, that goal orientated, driven, purposeful side of me, overrides the free flowing feminine; the creative; gentle; and sensitive. My head, the logical and wanting mind overbears the soft cries of my heart. I do not listen. My senses are overburdened, my mind never stops. My energy struggles to sustain me and my care practices prove under-nourishing. I am 70% full. I crave stillness, connection, and simplicity. I want fulfilment, meaning and freedom. Yet, I do not make this my reality. What now? Should I stop everything and refocus? Should I relish in the stillness and choose to stay there until I am ready to return to the path of my desires? I have momentum, what if I lose it? Do I simply stop and take a breath amongst the chaos, find presence in the sweet moment of stillness, and continue on? What if I can’t? What if what is here for me now won’t wait around until I return, until I am ready?

With presence in this very moment, I sit quietly, patiently… wait what’s that?

Trust yourself. If you don’t feel it, don’t follow it.

The echo of a soft voice from within, my inner knowing, my inner self.

And in this very moment, I recognise that “less IS more” and so I choose to trust that no matter my choice, I will stay the path towards becoming that person I have always wanted to be. And, in the here and now, I choose to love myself above all else, I choose stillness, simplicity, and rest. I choose me.

I find stability and joy in simplicity.

Suggested daily practice:

Each and every morning -

  1. Wash your face

  2. Brush your teeth

  3. Drink a glass of water (filtered is preferable)

  4. Take a comfortable seat (maybe put on a salt lamp, some soft music or light some incense if you like)

  5. Take three deep belly breaths (Raja pranayama)

  6. Have your affirmation written out before you and begin to silently repeat your it in your minds eye

  7. When you feel ready, close you eyes and continue to repeat the affirmation

  8. Feel what it feels like in your body to fully surrender to your affirmation

  9. Notice these feelings, let yourself truly experience them

  10. Say It. Feel It. Live It - continue for a minimum of 5 minutes and when you are ready begin your beautiful day!
